Footprints exhibition
Thursday evening we had a tea and cake opening for the HLF funded Footprints exhibition. The library kindly gave us some space for it and it seems to be getting lots of attention. The exhibition features photos of people who worked in the shoe industry as well as a scrapbook that was created by June Ward when she was 14, she is now 82! Great to see the people who took part in the project enjoying chatting to each other – they all seemed to make new friends through it. Here are some of the pictures
